KIDmunity Music at Fresno City College

Quality, Caring Music Instruction for Children

Join us this semester on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:15 p.m. in the Recital Hall (MS-132)!

Fresno City College and KIDmunity Music are teaming up to offer afterschool music to kids grades K-6. Director Dr. Kevin Cooper, FCC professor Julie Dana, and an enthusiastic team of FCC music students are excited at the chance to offer affordable music classes to families in our community.

KIDmunity Music participants will…
-Perform music from around the world.
-Develop their singing voices.
-Learn music reading.
-Move and dance expressively to music.
-Play guitar, recorder, and rhythm instruments. 
-Present a concert in the magnificent OAB Auditorium.
-Learn how music can bring children together as a KIDmunity!

Advance registration is recommended but open registration will occur at the first session. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration forms and fees may be mailed to FCC Music Department c/o Julie Dana, 1101 E University Ave, Fresno, CA 93741.

Class Schedule:
Wednesdays, Nov 30 – Dec 2, 6:00-7:15 p.m., MS-132.
Dress Rehearsal: Wednesday, Dec. 9, OAB Auditorium, 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Concert: Wednesday, Dec. 9, OAB Auditorium, 7:00-8:30 p.m.

The preregistration form can be downloaded here, and when paid in full, will reserve a space for your child. Checks should be made payable to KIDmunity Music. KIDmunity Music is a nonprofit venture and the registration fee of $60 covers administrative costs and the purchase of music and classroom materials.
