Select Your Courses and Register

All students are encouraged to visit our Registration page for general information and to Meet with a Counselor to be sure you are taking the right classes to reach your academic and career goals.

When selecting classes, remember that Online Learning classes come in two forms:

Online courses are offered entirely online with no required meetings on campus.

Hybrid courses combine some percentage of class time on campus and online.  The requirement varies from class to class - you may be asked to come to campus weekly or just once for the final exam.

Both types of classes - Hybrid and Online - are referred to as WEB classes in the schedule, so be sure to read the course description carefully to determine if there is any on-campus attendance required.

For a list of courses currently offered online, Search for Online Classes on WebAdvisor.

If the class Location says "FCC Hybrid Web Class" it means the class requires at least one face-to-face meeting.
If the class Location says "FCC Web Class" it means the class is 100% online - no face-to-face meeting required.

If you are registering for an online or hybrid class for the first time, we strongly recommend you also register for CIT 202 Introduction to Online Learning. This one unit, nine-week class will show you how online courses are different from "in the classroom" courses. You will learn the skills you need to succeed in an online class, including:

  • Using Blackboard as your online virtual classroom.
  • Managing your time to get work done.
  • Participating with classmates through discussion boards.
  • Managing files, backing up work, and submitting assignments.
  • And many other skills essential to succeeding in online courses.
